The main objective of launching Jyothishmathi Brigade of students at the college is to contribute to the “Swachh Bharat (Clean INDIA) Abhiyan”  by carrying out Swachh Karimnagar Abhiyan.
“Like  Brigades of Soldiers who are deployed to combat evil enemies to protect the country,  Jyothishmathi Brigades of Students are formed to drive away evil practices in the society and to build a clean, green and developed region”.

VISION of the Jyothishmathi Brigade is :
“Strive Towards  Transforming  Karimnagar to a Clean City through Swachh Karimnagar Abhiyan”

MISSION  of Jyothishmathi Brigade is :
“To  organize different educational, social, developmental, community service programs at the Campus, Karimnagar city and nearby villages throughout  the year on a continuous and sustainable basis”

ACTIVITIES PROPOSED

To organize various programmes to keep College Campus, Karimnagar Town and nearby villages clean, Green and beautiful (“STOP THROW AWAY CULTURE” – USE ONLY DUSTBINS)

To spread the Social Awareness on “Plastic bag hazards” and to organize “SAY NO TO USE OF PLASTIC BAGS” Campaign in College, Karimnagar Town and nearby villages

To organize “Tree Plantation Camps” in the college and in Karimnagar region

To organize Awareness programme to spread Anti-ragging Campaign among students

To organize “Road Safety Awareness” Programmes in the College Campus

To organize “Blood Donation Camp” in the college and in Karimnagar region.

To organize various awareness programmes to bring about behavioural Changes in people regarding healthy sanitation practices and its linkages with public health.

To organize “Shramadhan Camps” in the college and in Karimnagar Village areas.

To organize “National Integration Day” programmes in the college by inviting experts/eminent officials working in this field.

To organize “HIV/AIDS Awareness Day” programmes in the college by inviting eminent Doctors from Karimnagar District Hospitals working in this field.

To organize “Health Checkup Camps” for the staff and students of this college.

To organize various programmes to help and support Old Age homes and Orphanges

To facilitate local NGOs, Clubs (Rotary, Lions, etc.) & other private sector participation to organize jointly programmes like Pulse Polio, Health Checkup, Eye-Checkup and other developments programmes in rural areas of Karimnagar district and to adopt villages for overall development.
