BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT JITS CAMPUS

NSS Cell Organized Mega Blood Donation Camp

Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology & Science, Karimnagar

A Blood Donation Camp is organized by NSS Cell of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions in co-ordination with District Collector, Indian Red Cross Society and Govt. Blood Bank on 23rd January, 2013 at 10.30 A.M. Around 200 students and staff of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions have donated the blood voluntarily for the noble cause of saving many lives of people of Karimnagar District who are being affected by viral fever, dengue and other diseases.

 

  

 

District Revenue Officer, Sri J.Gopal Krishna Prasad Rao inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp and was the Chief Guest at the inaugural function.  He addressed the staff and students of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions and explained the importance of donating the blood to save the lives of people and congratulated the staff and students who have come forward voluntarily in large number to donate the blood.  The Revenue Divisional Officer, Mrs. G.Sandhya Rani spoke on the youth participation in blood donation.   The District Coordinator for Hospital Services, Dr.Azmeera Bhoja Naik and District Medical & Health Officer, Dr. K.Nageshwar Rao were present and appreciated the noble act of students and staff members in donating the blood to save the lives of people of Karimnagar District.

 

  

 

On this occasion, Sri J.Sagar Rao Garu, Chairman, Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions addressed the donors and explained about their role in saving lives through blood donation. The college Principal Dr.A.R.Naseer expressed his hearty congratulations and appreciation to all the students and staff members who have come forward voluntarily to donate the blood.

 

The Director K.Venkat Rao, NSS Coordinator, Mrs. Radika Reddy, Staff and Students  participated very actively in this programme.
