JITS Students bag first prize in Smart City Hackathon 2018

The students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS) won first prize in a contest held as part of Smart City Hackathon in Hyderabad on Monday. For the competition, a total of 16,600 students from 30 engineering colleges had sent 700 prototype models, while five online tests were conducted in the past two months to select the winner. JITS students Nanda Kishore Jeripothula, Sudheeshana Katakam, Sankeeth Rao Vonna andKrishna Chaitanya Kathala from computer Science and engineering stream received the prize from IT Secretary JaYesh Ranjan.
