Interactive Session on Preparing for Tomorrow’s Challenges at JITS

Shri. Gopal T K Krishna, Founder and President, Krishna Engineering Consultants Inc., Iowa, USA, addressed the B.Tech first and fourth year students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS – Autonomous), Karimnagar, in an interactive session titled “Interactive Insights: Preparing for Tomorrow’s Challenges” on 8th September 2025.

During the session, he enlightened the students on diverse aspects related to building a successful career, securing employment opportunities, and pursuing higher education after graduation. He emphasized that in today’s competitive world, graduates need not only academic excellence but also discipline, respect, and continuous self-improvement to stand out in their professional journey.

Mr. Gopal stressed the importance of lifelong learning, stating that true professional growth comes when individuals constantly upgrade their knowledge, adapt to emerging technologies, and demonstrate ethical behavior in their chosen fields. He also inspired students by sharing his personal journey and highlighting the role of mentors and institutions in shaping one’s career.

An alumnus of Osmania University Engineering College, Mr. Gopal T K Krishna has contributed significantly to academia and society. He donated ₹5 crore towards the construction of a building for the EEE department of his alma mater in the name of his mentor Prof. Y. Narasimhan. Additionally, he donated one million dollars to two universities in the USA, where he pursued higher studies, enabling the creation of six prestigious scholarships for deserving students.

The session concluded with JITS Chairman Sri. J. Sagar Rao Garu, Secretary J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, Dean (Academics) Dr. P. K. Vaishali, and faculty members extending their gratitude to Mr. Gopal T K Krishna for his valuable guidance. They urged the students to embrace the learnings from the session and apply them to excel in their professional and personal endeavors.
