JITS Silver Jubilee: Lecture Series by Scientific Luminaries for benefit of students:
As a part of the silver jubilee celebrations of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS), lecture series by scientific luminaries were being conducted.
Accordingly on the first day of the lecture series, an online lecture by ISRO former chairman A S Kiran Kumar on “Indian Space Programme”
was organized.
On 20/10/2022, TCS Chief Innovative Officer and Global Head Mr. Peddigari Bala Prasad spoke on “Emerging Technologies and Cyber Security”. He explained the challenges faced by modern security systems in information technology, communication technology, operation technology etc.
Speaking on this occasion, Computer Society of India and Youth for Nation representative Mr. Dasaka Chandra said that for every 11 seconds a cyber attack was taking place in the country.
Informing the students to change their passwords every 15 days to avoid cyber attacks, he said more than 3.5 million employment opportunities were available in cyber security and called upon the students to utilise the opportunity. Retired Airforce wing commander G. Srinivas, JITS Chairman J. Sagar Rao, Secretary J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr. K. Srinivasa Rao, and others were also present.
