Prof. Uday B. Desai, Former Director, IIT Hyderabad – Chairperson, Academic Advisory Board of JITS,
addressed the students on “Engineering Education for Global Requirements” today.
He stressed on the need for changes in the present education system to compete with the global market.
He also empowered the students about Satellite, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security and many more.
He also suggested the students that the research on Bio-medical, Agriculture and Artificial Intelligence sectors is the need of the hour.
He further guided the students to focus on certificate courses along with the curriculum.
Students enthusiastically participated with question and answer session held with the former director Prof. Uday B. Desai.
JITS Chairman J Sagar Rao,
Secretary J. Sumith Sai expressed that they would follow the suggestions of the Academic advisory board and transform the institution on all fronts.
