JITS to sign MoUs with US universities to help students pursue higher education:

Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS) chairman Sri.J. Sagar Rao said they were holding parleys with several universities in United States of America and planning to make tie up with them for the benefit of students of JITS to study abroad for higher education after completion of their graduation.

The JITS, which has completed its 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 last year, had secured NAAC A grade, NBA Accreditation and UGC Autonomous last year. The JITS is now planning to make Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with some of the universities in the USA and help the students study aboard for higher education with ease, he stated.

Participating in the Fresher’s day party for the students of 2023-24 on the college campus on Saturday, Mr Sagar Rao said that they were in constant touch with the universities in USA and mostly likely they would sign MoUs in the month of January 2024 tentatively. He said that they were exploring the possibilities of even providing dual degrees from India and USA. He said that they had decided to ensure that at least 100 students from JITS for higher education in USA.

Principal Dr. K S Rao said that the JITS Secretary J. Sumith Sai was taking all measures for MoUs with several universities of USA and help the students pursue MS and secure scholarships and internships. He also advised the students not to waste time and attend classes regularly. He informed the students to improve communication and life skills. Deans Dr. K Vaishali and Dr. P Sampath Rao and others were also present.

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲:
Later, the students presented colourful cultural programmes with lots of pomp, fun and gaiety. Music, dance and various entertainment programs presented by the fresher students kept the audience enthralled. The burst of talent exhibited by Freshers was absolutely mesmerizing. The audience consisted of senior students, faculty, guests and parents spellbound throughout the programs.
