Changing technology should be used in an ethical way to help society, said Kansas State University professor Dr Dandu Raju

Stating that the technology is a continuous improvement, Dr. Dandu Siva Rama Raju, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Director of Bulk Solids Innovation Centre, Kansas State University, USA, informed the students to embrace the technology and use in an ethical way for the benefit of society.

Delivering a guest lecture on the “𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 – 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠’ at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous) college on friday, Dr. Siva Rama Raju said that ‘the technology is changing at a rapid pace and information is provided at your fingertips. Use the information for development’.

Stating that every student has talent and capabilities, he informed them to maximize it. He also made a power point presentation on emerging technology and smart manufacturing. He explained development and various revolutions including industrial revolution to the present cellular phones.

JITS Secretary and Correspondent Sri.J. Sumith Sai said that they were taking measures for collaborating with several universities and expert faculty members of USA for exchange of knowledge. JITS Chairman Sri.J. Sagar Rao said that he was privileged to listen to the lecture by eminent professor of USA Dandu Shiva Rama Raju. Principal Dr. K S Rao and others were also present.
