Interaction Session at Jyothishmathi on Louisiana Tech University’s Graduate Degree Programs
Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous) Karimnagar proudly hosted a special interaction session by Mr.Jay R. Ligon, Director, International Affairs, Louisiana Tech University, USA focusing on the graduate degree programs offered by Louisiana Tech University (LTU), USA on 13th August 2024.
The event marked a significant milestone in the institutions ongoing efforts to provide students with global educational opportunities.
It could be recalled that JITS has an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Louisiana Tech University, fostering academic collaboration and exchange programs between the two institutions. This session is a direct outcome of this fruitful partnership, aimed at further enhancing the educational prospects of our students.
The session began with a warm welcome extended to the distinguished dignitaries followed by the ceremonial Jyothi Prajwalana and invocation, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge.
Speaking on this occasion, the college Chairman Sri. J. Sagar Rao garu said that the college is committed towards continuous improvement, stressing that such collaborations are key to preparing students for global challenges. Sri. J. Sumith Sai garu, Secretary & Correspondent highlighted the role of international collaborations in enhancing the academic experience of the students. He further added that the institution is putting its best efforts to establish more collaborations and ensuring that the students have access to the best educational resources and opportunities.
Principal Dr. K.S. Rao, emphasized the importance of global exposure in higher education and urged the students to make use of the opportunities provided.
Mr. Jay R. Ligon then took the stage to introduce Louisiana Tech University’s graduate degree programs. His presentation offered students a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities available at LTU, including various academic programs, research opportunities, and campus life. The session also featured an interactive Q&A segment, where students had the chance to engage directly with Mr. Ligon and clarify their doubts.
The session concluded with the presentation of mementos to the distinguished speaker, followed by a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
This interaction session not only provided students with valuable insights into pursuing higher education abroad but also strengthened the academic ties with Louisiana Tech University.
