JITS student selected for a national-level athletics meet to be held in Bengaluru:
D Bhargavi, a B. Tech CSE final year student from the Jyotishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS) Karimnagar bagged gold and silver medals at the senior state level athletics conducted on October 7 and 8.
She bagged a gold medal in the 800 meters and a silver medal in the 400 meters events and was selected to participate in the National athletics competitions which would be held in Bengaluru from October 17 onwards.
On this occasion, JITS Chairman Sri. J. Sagar Rao congratulated the student by presenting a bouquet and wished her good luck in the national level competitions. He appreciated Bhargavi for excelling in sports along with academics. Secretary J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr. K. Srinivasa Rao, Physical Director R. Venkateshwar Rao, CSE HoD R. Jegadeesan, NSS programme officer Vishwa Prakash Babu and others congratulated Bhargavi.
