Silver Jubilee: JITS launches Sports Fiesta-2022
As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, the Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS) launched a five-day sports fiesta-2022 by organising various sports for the students, teaching faculty and non-teaching faculty from November 12 onwards on the sprawling college campus grounds.
The sports event was formally inaugurated with the cricket match between the faculty of the ECE department and the Office Administration in which Office administration won the match. In a match between CSE and Civil & Mechanical, the CSE won the match. The EEE, H&S faculty won the match against the Office Administration.
The competitions would be also conducted in carroms, athletics, kho-kho, table tennis and volleyball till November 16. The winners would be given cash prizes and trophies.
The events were conducted by faculty coordinators Ch. Sajan Rao, D. Srinivas, Vishwaprakash Babu and Physical Director R. Venkateshwar Rao.
