The International women’s day celebrated at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS) in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the women faculty and girls celebrated the event with utmost gaeity.
Women faculty expressed that womanhood should be respected at all times equally. There are days for fathers, mothers, children and other sections of society. We celebrate them. Days come and go, but all that we need is to understand the spirit behind Women’s day and respect all the women because women itself is a super power.
The management awarded merit scholarship of Rs. 10,000/- for MBA first year student.
On this occasion elocution and cricket competitions were conducted for girls.
Principal Dr. K. Srinivas Rao applauded the students and distributed the prizes to the winners and runners.
He had formally launched the Centre for Digital innovations by releasing the poster and videos.
Coordinators Dr. V. Neelima and Dr. A. Manjula, HOD Prasannalatha and others were also present.
