Students of JITS captivate with their thought provoking rangolies on social and current issues:

As part of a series of activities conducted in view of “Radiance 2024”, Intracollegiate cultural festival, the students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), participated in a rangoli competition in the college campus on friday (29/03/2024).

Students depicted various themes including Bala Ram temple in Aayodhya, educating the people to desist from getting addicted to social media and other social and current issues. The students depicted the current issues of female foeticide, dowry, acid attack and environment conservation, among others, showed how sensitive and responsible they are towards society.

JITS Chairman Sagar Rao, Principal Dr.K.S.Rao, Dean (Academics) Dr.K.Vaishali, Dean(Student Affairs) Dr.P.Sampath Rao, faculty members and others inspected the rangolies and lauded the efforts made by the girl students. The best rangolies would be given cash prizes during the annual day celebrations on saturday (30/03/2024).

Earlier JITS Chairman Sri.J.Sagar Rao inaugurated the food stall as a part of annual day celebrations on the campus.

The students set up various food courts to serve delicious food such as Pani Puri, Icecreams, grilled chicken, fruit salads, juices, water bottles, etc.
