The Training & Placement Cell of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS – Autonomous) successfully organised an expert session on Career Prospects in Core Engineering Streams: Electrical, Civil and Mechanical” for the benefit of engineering students.
The session was delivered by Srinivas Bashetty, Centre Manager, Dhanush Engineering Services India Private Limited, who shared valuable insights on industry expectations, emerging opportunities, employability skills, and career pathways in core engineering sectors. He emphasised the importance of strong fundamentals, hands-on exposure, certifications, and adaptability to industry trends.
The programme was held in the presence of the Chairman Sri.J. Sagar Rao garu, Secretary & Correspondent J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr.T. Anil Kumar, Dean Academics & Audit Dr.P. K Vaishali, Head of the Departments, faculty members, and staff.
Students from Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering actively participated in the session and interacted with the resource person, gaining clarity on career planning, higher education options and opportunities in both public and private sectors.
The event reaffirmed JITS commitment to providing industry-oriented guidance and enhancing the career readiness of its students through continuous engagement with industry experts.
