The Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar town has fulfilled its promise of providing a scholarship of Rs 18,000 per year to each B.Tech student enrolled in various streams of the college during the academic year (2026-27).
Accordingly, two students, Nallengi Meghana from Lalithapur village of Manakondur mandal and Safura Sharmin from Mukarampura in Karimnagar town, have joined the CSE group on Monday and secured the scholarship amount of Rs 18,000 each.
JITS Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao has handed over the scholarship cheques on behalf of Shalini Educational Trust to the students.
Each student enrolled in the college would be given a scholarship of Rs 18,000 every year, and the student would get a total of Rs 72,000 as a scholarship till the completion of the four-year course.
As soon as the student is enrolled in the college, the cheque of Rs 18,000 would be issued to the student from the Shalini Educational Trust.
