𝗝𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 “𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗞𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮” 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 🇮🇳💻
Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, organized a cyber awareness programme titled “Suraksha Ka Tiranga – Fraud Ka Full Stop” under the theme “Towards a Cyber Independent Telangana.” The programme was jointly organized by the JITS SPARC Club and the JITS NCC Unit to create awareness among students about cyber safety, digital responsibility, and protection against online frauds.
The programme was graced by Sri P. Venkata Ramana, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Karimnagar, as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the importance of cyber vigilance, safe digital practices, and responsible use of online platforms to prevent cyber crimes.
Sri K. Ramesh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime, Karimnagar, attended as the Guest of Honour. He educated students about the latest cyber fraud techniques, online scams, cyber hygiene, and precautionary measures to ensure digital safety.
On the occasion, Sri J. Sagar Rao, Chairman, Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions, stated that cyber awareness has become an essential life skill for every student in today’s digital era and encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens.
Sri J. Sumith Sai, Secretary & Correspondent, said that the institution is committed to organizing programmes that enhance both technical competence and social responsibility among students.
The programme was attended by Sri B. Ramesh, Circle Inspector, LMD; Sri G. Anusha, Cyber Crime Inspector; Dr. T. Anil Kumar, Principal; Dr. P. K. Vaishali, Dean (Academics & Audit); Lt. G. Jagdeeshwar, Associate NCC Officer; Dr. K. Shashikanth, SPARC Club Coordinator; faculty members, NCC cadets, and a large number of students.
