The National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of the Jyothismathi institute of technology and science (JITS) in association with Prathima institute of medical sciences (PIMS) organised
a blood donation camp in which over 100 units of blood were collected.
The JITS chairman Sri. J. Sagar Rao stated that activities such as voluntary blood donation shape the outlook of youth and inculcate the spirit of service.
Donating the blood is philanthropic activity and is valuable for patients of Thalassemia, heart bypass surgery, trauma and injury cases.
He also lauded the supreme services of students and NSS volunteers.
