Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous) Distributes ₹18,000 Scholarship Cheques to First-Year B.Tech Students
Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, distributed ₹18,000 scholarship chequesto first-year B.Tech students, reaffirming the management’s commitment to supporting higher education.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao said the institution was established in 1990 with just 30 studentsunder the guidance of Sri Janardhan Reddy garu and launched its engineering college in 1997. He noted that the college earned recognition from its very first graduating batch by producing a JNTU Hyderabad Gold Medalist.
He highlighted the institution’s focus on quality education, experienced faculty, and career guidance. Referring to recent achievements, he said that in 2025, a student won three gold medals, while Siri Chandana received ₹12 lakh from the Central Government for developing an innovative two-wheeler airbag project.
Sri Sagar Rao encouraged students to use their four years of engineering wisely, emphasizing that these years shape the next four decades of their careers.
Under the Shalini Educational Trust, scholarship cheques were presented to Eligeti Neeraja, Gajula Badriya, Chaturvedi Siri, Desarajula Reshwanth Chary, Aare Srinidhi, Sadinethi Vasavi, Kante Devarshini, Pulipaka Prashanth, Gadicherla Varshashree, Arsam Ganesh, Mettu Sameeksha, Ragilla Manoj, Ejjigiri Vijay, Mohammed Shazoruddin, Saini Ruchitha, and Gangula Abhinayashree.
The management also announced that every admitted student will receive ₹18,000 annually for four years (₹72,000 total) through the Shalini Educational Trust, helping reduce the financial burden of higher education and supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals.
