NSS volunteers donate blood to mark World Blood Donors day at JITS:
National Service Scheme unit of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, in association with the Government General Hospital, Karimnagar, organised a blood donation camp wherein 50 NSS volunteers donated the blood as a part of World Blood Donors day on 14/06/2023.
On this occasion, JITS Principal Dr. K. Srinivasa Rao appreciated the volunteers for voluntarily coming forward and donating blood to save lives. He called upon the students to encourage blood donation and help people in need. Medical officer Dr. Sai Kiran administered a pledge of blood donation on the occasion. The blood donors were given fruit juices and refreshments and also certificates.
JITS Chairman Sri. J. Sagar Rao congratulated the students and the faculty members for organising the blood donation camp. JITS NSS Programme Officer Vishwa Prakash Babu, Coordinator Dr. Pranitha, CSE HoD Dr. R. Jegadeeshan, Physical Director R. Venkaeshwar Rao and others were also present.
