𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐈𝐓𝐒, 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫
INNOFEST-2026, the annual Intercollegiate Technical Festival of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, was inaugurated on February 12, 2026, in the college seminar hall.
The event was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. A. Krishnaiah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Senior Professor, UCE, Osmania University, Hyderabad, who lit the ceremonial lamp and addressed the gathering. He emphasized that technical festivals nurture competitive spirit, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and innovation among students, encouraging them to excel in research and emerging technologies.
The festival features Project Expo, Paper Presentation, Code-O-Quick, Robo Explore, Circuit Design, Poster Presentation, and General & Technical Quiz, with around 300 teams participating.
Prof. Krishnaiah visited the Project Expo, interacted with students, and appreciated their innovative ideas.
Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao garu lauded the successful organization and highlighted the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation, industry-relevant skills, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Secretary & Correspondent Mr. J. Juvvadi Sumith Sai noted that the fest promotes creativity and startup culture, with campus stalls encouraging business and managerial skills. Winners will be honored during the Annual Day celebrations. The annual cultural fest “Utsav-2026” will be held on February 13.
The program was attended by Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, JIPS Principal Dr. V. Raj Kumar, Dean (Academics) Dr. P. K. Vaishali, faculty, and students.
