The Department of ECE conducted a guest lecture on “Systems and Signal Processing” on 30-12-2024 at JITS (Autonomous), Karimnagar. The resource person was Dr. P. Vinay Kumar, Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at JNTU Kakinada.
The lecture covered both the analog and digital signal domains of signal processing systems, with real-time applications such as fetal ECG monitoring, biomedical engineering, FIR filter design, and noise filtering. It also included advanced technological signal processing methods using MATLAB. Dr. Vinay Kumar discussed placement and research opportunities in the Systems and Signal Processing domain and guided students on how to undertake meaningful major projects to expand their knowledge in this field.
The faculty and students of the ECE department actively participated in the session. The management and principal advised the students to make the best use of the resources provided by the institution to enhance their skills in engineering and technology
