Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, has fulfilled its commitment of providing an annual scholarship of Rs. 18,000 to students admitted into the first year of the B Tech courses from Shalini Educational Trust.
As part of the programme on Wednesday, JITS Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao distributed scholarships to 10 B Tech first-year students, viz., Nallengi Meghan from Lalithapur village, Manakondur, Safura Sharmin from Karimnagar, Jinka Tarun from Vemulawada, Adurugatla Srija from Rajanna Sircilla District, Yadandla Spandana from Ramagundam, Asiya from Karimnagar, Maitri from Karimnagar, Katta Gautham Kumar from Jagtial, Gummadi Akshara from Karimnagar and Suhresh Farzeen.
Speaking on the occasion, the JITS Chairman stated that every student admitted into the institution would receive a scholarship of Rs.18,000 (Rupees Eighteen Thousand only) per year, amounting to a total of Rs.72,000 over the four-year B.Tech programmes.
He said that the Shalini Educational Trust is extending this financial assistance to ensure that deserving students can pursue higher education without financial constraints.
He encouraged the students to make the best use of this opportunity, strive for academic excellence, and achieve their career goals.
The programme was attended by the students’ parents and representatives of the college.
