Students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITSโAutonomous), Karimnagar, secured first prize at the National-Level Hackathon conducted by Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, as part of SUDGEE 2026. The winning students met the JITS Chairman Sri. Juvvadi Sagar Rao garu at the college campus in Karimnagar on Tuesday, 17 February 2026.
The team comprised third-year CSE students T. Bhavani (23271A05H9), who served as the Team Leader, along with members Shifa Tabaseem (23271A05C9) and CH. Vyshnavi (23271A05M7). Their project titled “Green Genie โ AI and IoT-based Smart Farming Support”, was presented under the first domain and earned them the top honor along with a cash prize of โน12,000.
On this occasion, the Chairman congratulated the students for bringing pride and recognition to the institution. He also commended the faculty members for their continuous guidance and dedication in nurturing student talent. The students expressed their gratitude to the college management for their encouragement and support, which helped them achieve success at the national level.
