𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗝𝗜𝗧𝗦 (𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀) 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕.𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲

Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, organised an inspiring Orientation Programme for newly admitted first-year B.Tech students on 17th August 2026 (Monday), marking the beginning of their academic journey at JITS.

Welcoming students and parents, Chairman Sri. Juvvadi Sagar Rao emphasised the importance of technical education. He advised students to set clear career goals, develop technical expertise and moral values, and make the best use of learning opportunities at the institute.

Secretary & Correspondent J. Sumith Sai congratulated the freshers and encouraged active participation in activities. He urged students to build self-confidence, communication skills and problem-solving abilities for their future.

Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar warmly welcomed the new batch and introduced the revised curriculum to meet emerging industry demands. He stressed discipline, regular attendance and adherence to college rules, while encouraging continuous learning and skill development.
Dean Academics Dr. P. K. Vaishali briefed students on the academic framework, assessment methods and credit system under the new curriculum. She advised consistency in studies, effective use of library and laboratory resources, and good time management.

The programme concluded with an interaction session where students and parents received information about academic regulations, examination systems, campus facilities and support services. Heads of Departments, faculty members and senior students also participated.
